Lightwood has been involved with several projects for Gutshot.

The most significant development was the ground-up creation of a player management system and an electronic cashier which was used for the company's live, real money poker software.

Our software allowed players to deposit and withdraw funds using a variety of payment methods, details of which were communicated to the Microgaming poker network.

It also managed the in-house "rakeback" scheme, giving players back a percentage of the revenue they generated each month.

Due to the high-risk nature of online gaming transactions, the system needed to be highly secure and we implemented a back-office system that included a number of features to help reduce the likelihood of accepting a fraudulent payment.

Additionally, we developed the content management system that is used to publish Gutshot's daily poker articles, a Texas Hold'em odds calculator and the live results leaderboard they provide for The International Club.

Lightwood also developed Gutshot Mobile - an iPhone app which delivers content from Gutshot.com to mobile devices and allows users to share articles through social networking.
